About Lauren Mounty, Founder and President

Lauren Mounty’s journey to founding Dunay Luxury Travel was inspired by a lifelong love of exploring the world — both personally and professionally.

During her distinguished career in higher education as a Vice President, Dean, and Consultant, Lauren’s work took her across the globe. She managed international partnerships, enrollment, and program development that led to more than ten professional trips to China and extensive travel throughout Europe, including Italy, France, Spain, Istanbul, London, and Greece. Those experiences gave her a deep appreciation for the art of connection and the power of experiencing cultures firsthand.

Outside her professional life, Lauren’s personal travels have been equally wide-ranging. She has explored the dramatic landscapes of Iceland and Alaska, as well as the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and Mediterranean. Lauren has visited Copenhagen, Amsterdam and has river cruised down the Rhine. Lauren has also been on small luxury ships, Disney Cruises and large mega ships. These journeys deepened her understanding of what transforms a trip into something truly memorable — the right blend of comfort, culture, and authenticity.

Today, she brings together her global perspective, organizational expertise, and passion for people through Dunay Luxury Travel. Lauren designs bespoke itineraries that reflect each traveler’s individuality, blending luxury with meaningful experiences — whether it’s a European escape, a family celebration, or a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

I do not charge planning or consultation fees. My services are completely complimentary when booking through Dunay Luxury Travel. You’ll receive the same rates you’d find online, plus exclusive perks and amenities through my preferred travel partners.
